The Theatre

Situated in Clacton on Sea, the 585 seat West Cliff Theatre can trace it’s beginnings back to 1894. Offering a year-round programme of shows and productions, the West Cliff Theatre is a unique jewel in Clacton’s crown. Run entirely by a charitable trust and volunteers, a warm and friendly welcome is guaranteed on every visit. The Performers

The Acts

Cast from the very best of the profession, our headlining and speciality acts are often featured on Britain’s Got Talent, The Royal Variety Show and worldwide cruises. Past Christmas Show acts have included: Adam Daye, Noel James, Christian Lee, Andrew Robley, Steve Hewlitt, Andy Leach, Micky Zany, Andy Eastwood and Dain Cordean. For our 2024 production we  thrilled to present the return of comic magician Andy Leach.

The Vocalists

Our stunning vocalists are the heart of our productions, delivering the melodies designed to ignite that festive feeling. Our professional singers often have West End credentials and have appeared across the UK in theatre, film and television. Returning to our production for 2024 are the sublime vocals of Ailesha Austen and Mike Bradley.

The Dancers

The Christmas Show dancers are renowned for their slick, glamourous and high energy routines within the show, choregraphed by the wonderful Tracey Iliffe (Celebrity Cruises, Thursford Spectacular, Butlins). Featuring a line-up of six professional dancers from across East Anglia, our dancers also work on West End musicals, cruise lines, international and UK theatre shows. We are also extremely proud to support graduate students with their first performing contracts in the profession.

The Kids

The Kids from The Company certainly provide the Ahh factor! Featuring numerous teams of children aged 7 – 12 years the kids support our dancers and vocalists in the production numbers of the show alongside performing their own routine in the first half of the show. The Company Performing Arts is based in Clacton on Sea and Colchester and provides training to young children aged 2 upwards in all aspects of the performing arts.
